It’s a WordPress World

Did you know that according to W3Techs, 2 out of every 5 websites are built using WordPress? And the most popular WordPress theme in use today is the extraordinary Divi by Elegant Themes.

There is an excellent reason for this popularity. It works! The Divi theme offers so much functionality. It is continuously updated and improved. And the community support surrounding Divi is excellent. What’s not to love?!

Down the rabbit hole

So you’re building a page on your shiny new website (using the awesome DIVI builder) and you want to hide the header and footer on this particular page. Googling the problem could take you down the rabbit hole of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Or maybe you’ve come across a plugin which promises to hide the header and footer in Divi for you.

But wait, those options will just add bloat to your lovely new site. And thanks to the lovely folks over at Elegant Themes, there is a simple way to hide the header and footer in Divi. Super easy to do but very easy to overlook! Here are the steps required.

A Simple Option Easily Overlooked

You will need to Edit Post on the backend. From the list of Attributes found on the right hand side scroll down until you find Template. From the drop down options choose Blank Page.

Voila! No header and footer on that individual page.

Far easier than CSS. Much tidier than an extra Plugin. Just very easily overlooked.
